LAST TIME OUT: The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders scored their fourth walk-off win of the season with a 4-3 triumph over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Tuesday night at PNC Field. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning, Tom Windle walked Vince Conde to plate L.J. Mazzilli with the winning run. It was the third walk-off win of the month for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Lehigh Valley got on the board in the top of the fourth when Mitch Walding lifted a solo home run to centerfield against Nestor Cortes. Trevor Plouffe followed with a double and scored two batters later on a Joey Meneses RBI single to take a 2-0 lead. In the top of the fourth, the IronPigs extended the lead to 3-0 on a sacrifice fly from Collin Cowgill. Cortes settled down after the turbulence to turn in his best start of the season. He turned in a season-high 5.2 innings, allowing three runs on six hits, walking one and striking out a season-high eight batters.

The RailRiders offense broke out against Drew Anderson in the top of the fourth, when Adam Lind led off with his first home run of the season. With one out, Zack Zehner legged out a triple and scored on a double from Ryan McBroom. Rey Navarro drove in McBroom with a single for his first RBI with the RailRiders to tie the game at 3-3.

AN AWAKENING, (STILL NEEDED): Since last Monday, there have been three strong offensive performances in the RailRiders 4-3 stretch the past seven games where the offense scored 7+ runs three times, but it managed only one run in 2-of-3 losses as well. Overall, it has been an improvement for SWB since the start of last week as they've scored 33 runs (4.7/game) on 56 hits (8.0/game) on the heels of a rather sluggish previous nine games, where they combining for 20 runs (2.2/game) on 58 hits (6.4/game) and only twice scored more than four runs in a game in that stretch.

NUMBERS ARE (RED) ROCKETING UP (TO THE MAJORS): OF Clint Frazier made his MLB debut last season July 1 as a 22-year old vs. Houston. Tuesday afternoon it was announced that he was recalled by the New York Yankees for this first time this year following an absolutely torrid stretch with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. He was 3-for-6, 2 2B, HR, 2 R, RBI, 2 BB in Friday's doubleheader, before going 3-for-5 with a home run in his secon straight game vs. Rochester. Those numbers continued an upward trend for the outfielder as he had been working his way back to the big leagues battling concussion symptoms throughout Spring Training and the early part of the season. After going 0-for-4 in first game with RailRiders this year, Frazier is 17-for-his-last-43 (.395 AVG), 4 BB/1 HBP (.458 OBP), 3 2B/2 3B/3 HR (.767 SLG) in his last 11G before the promotion.

READY TO PITCH: In Friday's Game One, the Rochester Red Wings plated 4-of-5 inherited runners off the RailRiders bullpen. LHP Oliver Perez allowed both runners he inherited to score when OF Jake Cave delivered a two-out, two-run, go-ahead single in the top of the 5th inning, and RHP Cody Carroll entered with the bases loaded in the 8th inning and 2-of-3 runners scored. This season, the RailRiders have allowed 17-of-42 (40.5%) inherited runners to score, and a large part of that is that bullpen arms are allowing first hitters to bat 20-for-74 (.270 BAA) with a .333 OBP (28-for-84).

DOESN'T LIKE WAITING: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's C Erik Kratz is tied for the team lead with C Kyle Higashioka and OF Zack Zehner for the team lead with 4 HR this season. He is tied despite the fact that Higashioka (93 AB) and Zehner (103 AB) have accumulated significantly more at-bats than Kratz (40 AB). The 37-year old homered in his most recent AB which snapped a 14-AB homerless drought, which was the longest of the season for him. So far his year has gone like this: 7 AB // HR // 8 AB // HR // 7 AB // HR // 14 AB // HR
