Rochester, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs scored four unanswered runs after falling behind 5-0, but the comeback fell short in a 6-4 loss to the Rochester Red Wings Wednesday night at Frontier Field. Rafael Bautista and Jacob Wilson each homered in the loss.

Zack Granite started the game with a walk, Ryan LaMarre singled and Jake Cave tripled home both runners on a line drive to right field. From there, Jermaine Curtis walked, and two batters later Wynston Sawyer walked to reload the bases. Nick Buss followed with a two-run double to right to push the lead to 4-0. From there in the sixth, Falu walked, reached second on a passed ball, and then moved to third and eventually scored on two wild pitches from DJ Baxendale to bring Syracuse within one.
