Surf Swept by Pride

ATLANTIC CITY- The Nashua Pride leaves Atlantic City with a series sweep over the Surf with a win Thursday night in front of 1713 at Bernie Robbins Stadium. Nashua improves to 8-5 while the Surf fall to 5-8.

Olmo Rosario continued his hot streak with a first inning homerun off of Monte Mansfield. Austin Wasserman went 2-for-4 with an RBI. The Pride put up two runs in the top of the sixth to break the tie. Nashua used four relief pitchers to confirm the win. Lance Stevens received his first win on the season going five innings allowing five hits and one run scored. Rich Garces came in for his fifth save of the season. Surf pitcher Monte Mansfield received the loss falling to 1-2.

The Surf head to Sussex for a three game series with the Skyhawks Friday then to Nashua for a three game series. The Surf return to Atlantic City on June 14th for a four game series with the New Haven County Cutters.
