Pito Ramirez hit two home runs and drove in four RBI to lead the Atlantic City Surf (7-5) over the Nashua Pride (0-13), 11-4, Wednesday evening at Hollman Stadium in Nashua.
The Surf received a solid start from right-hander Maximo Nunez (4-2), who tossed eight innings, allowing one run on just three hits while striking out four and walking one. Jose Velasquez added a home run for the Surf. With the loss, Nashua''s Atlantic League record losing streak reaches 18 consecutive games.
The Surf and the Pride will square off again this evening at 7:05 p.m., in Nashua.
