Atlantic City Surf News Release
The Atlantic City Surf lost to the Nashua Pride 3-1 before 2,282 at Holman Stadium Thursday night.
Raul Marval homered for the Surf but it wasn't enough as the Pride's Paxton Crawford outdueled Atlantic City's starter Anthony Chavez to earn the victory for Nashua. Atlantic City didn't help itself by committing three errors.
Despit the loss, Atlantic City's Brandon Jackson continued his stellar first half going 2-for-2 on the night. Jackson extended his consecutive on-base streak to 23, a league best. Jackson also is the leading hitter in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball with a .389 average.
