Surf Announce LPGA Promotion

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (June 5, 2003) â The Atlantic City Surf and marketing partner Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey are joining up with the popular ShopRite LPGA Classic for a cross-promotional program leading up to the June 23-29 tournament at the Seaview Marriott in Galloway Township.
The Saturday, June 28, contest between the Surf and the Somerset Patriots will be a special event as the Surf will give away Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey beach towels and ticket vouchers to the final round of the ShopRite LPGA Classic to the first 1,000 adults.
In addition, all ShopRite LPGA tournament tickets can be redeemed at the Sandcastle for a two-for-one ticket buy to any Surf home game for the remainder of the season.
The promotional dates and deals will be displayed on the message board throughout all Surf home games in the month of June, as well as on the leaderboard during tournament week at the ShopRite LPGA Classic.
"We are excited and proud to team up with the ShopRite LPGA Classic and Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey," said general manager Mario Perrucci. "This will give people a golden opportunity to see two exciting local sporting events at minimal cost and even further promote quality, affordable family entertainment in South Jersey."
