Suns Make Roster Moves

Montgomery, Ala. - The Jacksonville Suns have made the following transactions in time for the 11:35 a.m. ET Tuesday game against the Montgomery Biscuits:

C Neil Wilson has been placed on the disabled list (left hand fracture), retroactive to April 26.

C Chris Hatcher has been promoted to Jacksonville from the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Class-A Advanced Florida State League. Hatcher arrived in Montgomery this morning, will wear jersey number 28 and is in the starting lineup for today's game in the number nine spot as the designated hitter.

In 2009, Hatcher was 6-18 at the plate with 2 RBI with Jupiter. The switch-hitter was a fifth round selection by the Marlins in the 2006 draft out of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.

The Suns have 24 active players, the Southern League maximum, with eight players on the disabled list.
