
M-Braves Welcome 1,000,000th Fan

Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves announce that the 1,000,000th fan in Trustmark Park history will enter the gates during the upcoming 10-game homestand against the Montgomery Biscuits and the Tennessee Smokies.
Counting the M-Braves regular season games through the team's first four years, playoff games the last two years and the Trustmark Bank Southern League All-Star game in 2007, the Braves total attendance coming into 2009 was 967,159. Through 10 home games this season, 28,993 fans have come through the gates at Trustmark Park. That makes 996,152 fans in four-plus years.
The Braves are 3,848 fans shy of 1,000,000 and Braves officials are hopeful that the 1,000,000th fan could enter Trustmark Park as early as Thursday, April 30th when the Braves take on the Montgomery Biscuits, the first game of the upcoming homestand. The M-Braves encourage all fans to come out and pack the park and be a part of history. Among many surprises, if and when the Braves hit the 1 million fan mark, the 1 millionth fan will be showered with gifts and prizes.
