Hagerstown, MD: The Asheville Tourists greeted the Suns very rudely in the first game of a four game series, winning 5-3 on Friday night. Asheville spotted the Suns two runs in the first but came back with four in the second off Bobby Parnell (5-7) who ended up taking the loss. German Marte threw five shutout innings in one of the best relief outings of the year for the Suns (15-19). The Suns first run came on a Jesus Gamero RBI single, which scored Fenrando Martinez. Will Vogl came in to score on Leivi Ventura's RBI sacrifice fly to make it 2-0.The Suns made a game of it in the ninth, getting a pinch hit RBI single from Jonel Pacheco.
