PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - Kevin Petovello's goal in the seventh round of the shootout proved to be the winner as the Arizona Sundogs snapped a seven-game winless skid on Friday night with a 2-1 win over the Texas Brahmas.

Scott Reid stopped Chad Woollard in the bottom of the seventh round to seal the win for the Sundogs (10-16-6). He finished with 32 saves on the night for his eighth win of the season.

The only goals in regulation came on first period goals as Jim Burichin gave Texas (14-11-7) a 1-0 lead five minutes into the game before Craig Macdonald tied things with less than two minutes to play.
