LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Friday that they have signed Greg Moore for the 2011-2012 season.
The Laredo Bucks have signed Greg Moore for the 2011-2012 season. Greg is 26 years old from Chateauguay, QC. He began the season with the Bloomington Blaze (CHL).
The 5'10", 194 pound, defensemen played last season in the SPHL. He appeared in 54 regular season games, where he scored 3 goals and had 8 assists. He also appeared in 8 playoff games, where he had 1 assist. Before playing professional hockey, he played for Elmira College (NCAA III) where he was teammates with Rusty Masters.
"It is great to have Greg come to us. He came highly recommended," states Head Coach Serge Dube. "He is a great skater and plays a simple game, which will make us that much more effective."
The Laredo Bucks travelled to Allen to face the Americans tonight at 7:05pm. The Laredo Bucks will then return home to play Allen in back to back games, TOMORROW Saturday, January 7th at 7:30pm and Sunday, January 8th at 4pm, at the Laredo Energy Arena.
