Sundogs Recognized in Annual CHL Best of the Best

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Central Hockey League today released its annual "Best of the Best" poll and the Arizona Sundogs received mention in six total categories, including four number one finishes.

Joel Irving, Sundogs leading scorer and leading vote getter among forwards for the 2009 CHL All-Star Game, was voted as the league's 'Best Power Forward', beating out Rocky Mountain's Colt King (second place) and Colorado's Ryan Tobler (third place).

Third-year forward Karl Sellan was overwhelmingly was voted the league's 'Most Annoying Player' and veteran defenseman and Sundogs captain Chris Bartolone also received mention in the poll, finishing third in the 'Best Leader' category.

For the second-straight year, the Sundogs received top recognition for 'Best Website' and 'Best Arena Music'.

Arizona Sundogs fans also figured into the annual poll, occupying the number three spot in the 'Best Fans' category.
