Sundogs Highlighted in CHL Best of the Best Poll

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs Hockey Club, in its first season of play in the Central Hockey League, has received mention in several categories of the CHL's annual "Best of the Best" poll.

All-Star Brent Kelly received the most mention, being cited in four categories including top honors in the "Most Gentlemanly Player" category. Other categories Kelly received honors include "Best Skater", where he was listed at number two, "Best Overall Player", also listed number two, and "Best Stickhandler", again listed at number two.

Sundogs' center and linemate of Kelly, Cory Stillman, also received the nod in several categories. Stillman was rated at number two in the "Most Underrated Player" category and number three in "Best Power Forward".

In just its first year of existence, the Arizona Sundogs' home Tim's Toyota Center earned accolades as well being noted as number two in the "Best Arena" category.

The poll, issued to all seventeen CHL-member clubs, was voted on by coaching staffs, players and front office personnel. A complete listing of the CHL "Best of the Best" Poll is available at www.centralhockeyleague.com/pagebank/?id=5102.
