
Sunday Series Finale Suspended in Springdale

Springdale, AR - Sunday's series finale between the Arkansas Travelers and Northwest Arkansas Naturals was suspended due to wet grounds in the middle of the fourth inning with the Travs trailing 4-3. A three-run second inning put the Travs out to an early lead before the Naturals answered with four in the bottom of the inning. Heavy rain struck in the middle of the fourth inning and the field was deemed unplayable after the rain had subsided. The game will be resumed on the Travelers next trip to Springdale on Tuesday September 12th at 5:15 p.m. with the regularly scheduled game, now seven innings, to follow afterwards.
Arkansas is back in action on Friday hosting the Corpus Christi Hooks. First pitch is at 7:05 for a Fireworks Friday at Dickey-Stephens Park. The game will also be broadcast on 106.7 Buz2, the Bally Live App, milb.tv and mlb.tv.
