Naturals Game against Travelers Suspended on Sunday, July 9th

SPRINGDALE, Ark. - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals game against the Arkansas Travelers, the Double-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, was suspended today - Sunday, July 9th - due to wet grounds and unplayable outfield at Arvest Ballpark with the Naturals leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Today's game will resume on Tuesday, September 12th at 5:15 p.m. in the bottom of the fourth inning with no one on and no one out with Northwest Arkansas leading Arkansas, 4-3. The regularly scheduled game on Tuesday, September 12th will now be a 7-inning affair following the conclusion of the suspended game but starting no earlier than 7:00 p.m. Gates will open to the public at 5:00 p.m.

All tickets from Sunday, July 9th are eligible, per the Naturals' official weather policy, to be exchanged in-person at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office for a ticket of equal value, based on availability, to any future regular season home game during the 2023 season. Tickets for September 12th are good for both the suspended game and the regularly scheduled game. The next homestand is Tuesday, July 18th through Sunday, July 23rd against the Tulsa Drillers, the Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

All ticket exchanges need to be done in-person at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office during normal operating hours. The Arvest Ballpark Box Office opens at 12 p.m. on gamedays and stays open throughout the game while on non-gamedays it is open from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
