UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun announced the signings of Natalie Berglin and Kerri Gardin to training camp contracts on Monday.

As per team policy, no terms were announced.

A 5-foot-7 guard from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Berglin completed her collegiate career with a program-best 192 made three-pointers. She ranked third in the nation as a senior in 2006-07 with a 2.85 assist-to-turnover ratio and posted a 1.99 assist-to-turnover ratio for her career. A first team All-Horizon League honoree as a senior, Berglin ranks fifth in Green Bay history with 423 assists and also tied for 10th with 1,233 career points. In her final game in a Green Bay uniform, Berglin scored a career-high 28 points against UConn in the second round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament, including a career-best six made threes.

Gardin is a 6-1 forward from Virginia Tech who was selected by the Chicago Sky in the third round (34th overall) of the 2006 WNBA Draft. After being waived by the Sky on May 16th, Gardin spent the 2006-07 season with Portuguese League Champion ESSA/Barreiro, where she was named both the Import and Defensive Player of the Year while also earning All-First Team honors. As a senior at Virginia Tech, Gardin led the ACC with 289 rebounds, a single-season program record, and also tied for the most blocks on the team with 25. She averaged a double-double with 24.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game as a senior
