Sullivan Traded to Wheeling

BOISE, Idaho - Idaho Steelheads Hockey Club announced today that defenseman Kelly Sullivan has been traded to the Wheeling Nailers. Terms of the trade were not disclosed, per Club policy.

Sullivan, 25, had seen action in 13 games with the Steelheads this season, tally 2 points and 13 penalty minutes. The Michigan native played the last four seasons with UMass-Lowell in the NCAA. In 88 games with the River Hawks, the 6-foot, 190-pound blueliner had 10 points (2g-8a).

The Steelheads take to the ice this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 9 and 10, as they welcome the Reading Royals to Qwest Arena for the first time.
