Bordeleau heads to AHL; Sweetland returns from the "A"

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that forward Patrick Bordeleau has been recalled to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League and that forward Andrew Sweetland has been reassigned to the club from the Rochester Americans of the AHL.

Bordeleau heads to Springfield having played in five games with the Everblades and 18 games with the Augusta Lynx this season. Combined the 22-year-old has 10 points (4g, 6a) and 76 penalty minutes in 23 games in the ECHL this year. The call-up to the AHL is the second this season for the Montreal, Quebec native who skated in three games with the Albany River Rats earlier this year.

Sweetland was reassigned by the Florida Panthers to the Everblades roster after the rookie played in two games with the Amerks during this most recent stint. The 22-year-old began the season with Rochester playing in 21 games recording one assist. The Bonavista, Newfoundland native returns to the Everblades where he has four points (2g, 2a) in seven games.
