
RoadRunners Announce 2008-09 Revised Schedule

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, announced today the revised schedule for the remainder of the 2008-09 ECHL season. The schedule changes were necessitated due to the ceasing of operations by the Fresno Falcons back on Dec. 22, 2008.
The RoadRunners have changed three upcoming home dates. Phoenix was scheduled to host Utah on Jan. 28 and Fresno on March 6 and 7. The RoadRunners will now welcome Ontario to US Airways Center at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3; Las Vegas at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23; and Bakersfield at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 to make up for the three dates lost.
In addition, the RoadRunners will now host Alaska on Saturday, Feb. 21 instead of the originally scheduled opponent Ontario, and Utah on Sunday, March 8 instead of the originally scheduled opponent Fresno.
The RoadRunners have added road games at Las Vegas on Jan. 27, at Las Vegas on Feb. 10, at Alaska on March 15, at Utah on March 23 and March 24, and at Idaho on March 31.
The RoadRunners' scheduled road games at Bakersfield on Jan. 9, at Fresno on Jan. 24, at Stockton on Feb. 28, and at Bakersfield on March 27 have all been cancelled.

Season ticket holders and advance ticket buyers should be advised that tickets purchased for the Jan. 28 game will now be valid for the Feb. 23 game against Las Vegas; tickets purchased for the March 6 game will now be valid for the Feb. 3 game against Ontario; and tickets purchased for the March 7 game will now be valid for the Feb. 28 game against Bakersfield.
Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday when they welcome the Stockton Thunder for a two-game series.
