
Strong Second Half Propels Knicks Past Swarm at Showcase

LAS VEGAS - The Westchester Knicks dominated the second half and earned a 120-91 victory over the Greensboro Swarm on Day Two of the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
The Knicks shot 56.2 percent from the field and outscored the Swarm 67-48 after halftime to pull away for the win. Westchester also commanded the boards, outrebounding Greensboro 28-15 in the second half.
Lamar Peters went 8-for-12 from the field for 23 points and added six assists for the Knicks in the matchup. The guard has now averaged 20.2 points and 7.6 assists over his last five games. Two-way center Ivan Rabb also added 18 points and 15 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season.
Two-way forward Robert Franks was a bright spot for the Swarm, coming off the bench for 20 points, while starting forward Jalen McDaniels, on assignment from the Charlotte Hornets, netted 14 points and grabbed 10 boards.
The Knicks (6-9) will wrap up their Winter Showcase on Sunday when they play the Oklahoma City Blue at 1:30 p.m. PT. The Swarm (4-12) will face the Erie Bayhawks on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. PT.
