Storm to host 'Girls Night Out' this Friday

SEATTLE -The Seattle Storm will host "Girls Night Out" at KeyArena this Friday, July 28 when the Storm take on the Detroit Shock at 7 p.m. This special event, presented by DiGiorno, will offers each fan the opportunity to receive a $32 lower-level ticket and a free beverage in KeyArena's DiGiorno Club for just $20. During the game, DiGiorno will also give away free pizzas to 100 lucky fans as well as a "Girls Getaway" trip for two to Las Vegas.

Storm season ticket holders were invited to purchase and donate "Tickets for Girls" for the Girls Night Out game to give young girls in Seattle the opportunity to attend a Storm game. More than 500 tickets have been donated to the Tickets for Girls cause to benefit the following organizations: The Seattle Girls School, Girls Rock!, Girl Scouts, YWCA, Lambert House, Northshore YMCA, Northwest Girls Coalition, Technology Access Foundation, Camp Ten Trees, Dress for Success and the Ballard Boys and Girls Club.

Tickets for Friday's game are still available and can be purchased through TicketMaster, by logging on to storm.wnba.com or by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX. Storm tickets are also available at the Sonics & Storm Team Shop located on KeyArena's West Plaza at 312 First Ave. N.

The Seattle Sonics & Storm organization manages the Puget Sound region's professional basketball franchises - the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics and the WNBA's Seattle Storm. The organization oversees all sales, marketing, finance, public relations and basketball operations for the teams.
