
Storm Signs McGinn

The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that Brock McGinn, the team's third round draft pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection, has signed an Ontario Hockey League contract with the team.
McGinn, a 5.10, 140 lbs forward was chosen with the 46th overall selection. Last season he picked up 22 goals, 34 assists in 52 games with the Guelph Minor Midget Junior Storm. Both of Brock's brothers, Jamie and Tye, also played in the OHL. Jamie is now playing with the San Jose Sharks and Tye suited up last season with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Gatineau Olympiques.
The Fergus native has been described as a "fiery guy who will bang crash and create offence."
McGinn was on hand in early May for the Storm's annual Prospect Day held at the University of Guelph. The 16 year old will attend the Storm training camp which begins Tuesday August 31st.
