Guelph Storm News Release

Guelph Storm General Manager Mike Kelly announced today that the Storm have released overage forward Tyler Hill allowing him to sign with the Caledonia Corvairs in the GOJHL and play closer to home.

"Tyler and I discussed the various options available to him for the remainder of the hockey season," stated Kelly. "These included remaining with the Storm, going to another OHL team, going to the QMJHL and also the possibility of remaining close to his Hagersville home and playing with the Caledonia Corvairs in the GOJHL. After reviewing his options, Tyler has opted to finish his junior eligibility playing in front of family and friends on a very strong Caledonia Corvair team. The Storm would like to thank Tyler for his contribution to the organization and our community over the past two seasons."

Hill was acquired by the Storm via trade from the Ottawa 67's in 2015. He played 47 games in a Storm uniform recording 22 points.
