
Lemieux Named December's OHL Player of the Month

(Windsor, ON) - Spitfires left winger Brendan Lemieux was named Ontario Hockey League Player of the Month for December on Wednesday.
Lemieux registered 10 goals and four assists in seven games after being acquired from Barrie on December 10th. Prior to the trade, he posted two goals and two assists in two games with the Colts.
Heading into Thursday night's home game with the Owen Sound Attack, the 19- year-old Denver, Colorado native is tied for the team lead in goals with 20 (Aaron Luchuk) and is currently riding a 16-game point streak.
Lemieux was originally drafted in the 2nd round (31st overall) by the Buffalo Sabres at the 2014 NHL Draft, before being traded to the Winnipeg Jets.
