Storm Complete Future Consideration Deals

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have acquired the rights to defenseman Randy Dagenais (da-zhin-ay) from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL. To complete a separate deal, the Storm sent the rights of defenseman Doug Andress and forward Steve Slonina to the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL.

Toledo receives the rights to Dagenais in completion of a February 2nd deal, in which the Storm sent defenseman Andrew Oke to the Gladiators. In his second professional season, Randy appeared in 74 games splitting time between Louisiana and Gwinnett. The defenseman tallied 14 goals and added 33 assists this past season. Andress and Slonina to Johnstown completes the trade in which Toledo accuired forward Mike James on March 15th. James collected 1 goal and added 3 assists in the 7 games he played with the Storm last season.
