
Storm Announce Schedule for 20th Anniversary Season

Kearney, NE. - The Tri-City Storm has announced its regular season schedule for the 2019-2020 season, the 20th season in Tri-City Storm history. The Storm will play host to the Omaha Lancers on Friday, October 4th for the home opener to the 2019-2020 season at the Viaero Center. The following week on Thursday, October 10th, Tri-City will host the defending Clark Cup Champion Sioux Falls Stampede. The Storm will also play five of its first seven games on home ice during the month of October. The regular season will conclude on Saturday, April 18th when Tri-City plays host to in state rival Lincoln. 2019-2020 season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting the Viaero Center Box Office, or by calling 308-338-8144. Individual game tickets for the 2019-2020 regular season will be available for purchase at a later date.
Following a historic Anderson Cup Championship season that included a team record forty-five wins in the regular season, the Tri-City Storm will return to the Viaero Center on Friday, October 4th to host in state rival Omaha. Tri-City was 24-3-2-1 last season at the Viaero Center, a record that matched the 2003-2004 Anderson Cup Championship team for most wins on home ice during a single season. In total, the 2019-2020 regular season schedule will feature thirty home games at the Viaero Center in Kearney. Twenty-six of the team's thirty home games will be played on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Prior to the team's opening home game on October 4th, Tri-City will play an exhibition schedule during September. Dates for Tri-City's preseason games will be announced at a later date.
The Storm will begin regular season play with two games at the 2019 DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Dates, matchups, and times for the event will be released at a later date.
