For a third-straight season, the 2019-20 season will consist of 12 teams advancing to the Clark Cup Playoffs, with the top two seeds in each Conference receiving a first-round bye. The first round will be a best-of-three series hosted by the No. 3 and 4 seeds in each conference versus the No. 5 and 6 seeds, respectively. The remaining rounds of the Clark Cup Playoffs will be determined by best-of-five series with home-ice advantage going to the higher seed.
Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, the USHL celebrates its 18th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league in 2019-20. The USHL had 55 players selected at the 2019 NHL Draft, and more than 400 players on team rosters last season committed to NCAA Division I schools, further establishing the USHL as the world's foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
