The Capitols will begin 2020 on the road in Youngstown for two games before having a relatively short travel schedule the rest of the month. January will see the Capitols play host to the reigning Clark Cup Champions, Sioux Falls Stampede, on January 24th and 25th at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena.
In February, Madison will host seven home games. The Capitols will play all Eastern Division rivals in February, except when the Tri-City Storm come to town on February 15th and 16th, following a season in which they won the Anderson Cup, awarded to the USHL regular season champion.
March brings the excitement again as Team USA's National Team Development Program (18U) come to Madison for a weekend series on March 6th and 7th. In addition, the Capitols host Omaha for a pair of games on March 20th and 21st. The Capitols travel schedule will include games in Lincoln, Sioux City, and Cedar Rapids.
April brings rivalries to end the season. The Capitols begin the month by hosting Dubuque on April 3rd and 4th. The Capitols host Cedar Rapids for the home season finale a week later on April 11th. The 2019-20 season ends with two games in Green Bay for the Wisconsin Cheese Cup.
The Capitols will play 44 of their 62 games against divisional rivals, with the other 18 taking on teams from the west. The Green Bay Gamblers will be the most frequent opponent with 10 games between the two squads, followed by eight meetings with the Chicago Steel.
