Trenton Thunder News Release

(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that RHP Graham Stoneburner has been transferred from Advanced-A Tampa to Trenton. In a corresponding move, C Ryan Baker has been placed on the Disabled List. The moves leave the Thunder 24-man active roster at its maximum capacity.

Stoneburner, a 23-year-old native of Richmond, Virginia, made three April starts this season for the Thunder before being sidelined due to a neck injury. In the three outings, the righty was 1-1 with a 1.69 ERA. Rehabbing his way back to Trenton, Stoneburner has recently appeared in a combined seven games with the GCL-Yankees and the Advanced-A Tampa Yankees. A 14th round selection by the Yankees out of Clemson in 2009, Baseball America regards Stoneburner as the 17th overall prospect in the Yankees' Minor League system.

The Thunder will welcome the Richmond Flying Squirrels back to Waterfront Park on Friday night at 7:05 PM for the second game of the four-game set. Trenton will give the pearl to Stoneburner, while Richmond will counter with LHP Eric Surkamp (8-3, 2.00). The SBLI Pre-Game Show with Jay Burnham and Hank Fuerst begins at 6:45 PM. Tune-in to the game on 91.3 WTSR and online at trentonthunder.com.

The first 2,000 fans (6+) to Friday's game will receive Andy Pettitte Bobbleheads (Thunder Road Uniforms) courtesy of Hyundai. For ticket information, log on to trentonthunder.com or call 609-394-3300.
