Stockton Ports to Host 16th Annual Pink Night on Saturday, August 19th

STOCKTON, Calif. -- On Saturday, August 19th, the Stockton Ports will be hosting the 16th annual Pink Night, presented by Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center, at Banner Island Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

"Pink Night is such an incredible tradition at Banner Island Ballpark," said Ports General Manager Jordan Feneck. "I am so grateful for our partnership with Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center and their assistance in putting on such a wonderful event every year. It truly is a privilege to come together as a community in support of such an important cause."

Festivities will include post-game fireworks, a Pink Night player jersey auction, a silent auction, and more.

Proceeds from the auctions, in addition to $1 from every ticket sold, will benefit St. Joseph's Medical Center's Cancer Institute. Since its inaugural year in 2007, The Ports have donated over $86,000 to St. Joseph's Medical Center's breast health services.

"It is always an honor to partner with the Stockton Ports. This 16th Annual Pink Night will continue the long- standing support the team shows for breast health services in our community," said Julie Eckardt-Cantrall, Vice President & Chief Philanthropy Officer, St. Joseph's Foundation of San Joaquin. "Without philanthropic investment, such as Pink Night, St. Joseph's Cancer Institute would not be able to offer free education, early detection and in-depth navigation and support for patients and their families."
