Stockton Kings Roll Over Ontario Clippers for Second Straight Win

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, defeated the Ontario Clippers, the NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Clippers, 128-85 on Tuesday evening at Stockton Arena. The Kings were led by DJ Steward who scored 20 points, on 10-of-12 shooting, and dished out six assists.

The Kings picked up their seventh win of the 2022-23 season, defeating the Clippers by as many as 49 points throughout the game and handing LA their third loss of the year.

Stockton's Trey Burke continued his scoring hot-streak since joining the Kings, posting 19 points and dishing out six assists, posting his third consecutive game of the season with 15-plus points. Additionally, the Kings saw four starters post 10-plus points in Chima Moneke (19), Chance Comanche (13), Alex O'Connell (14) and Jordan Ford, who delivered 18 points and three assists in 19 minutes.

The Clippers' Nate Darling posted a double-digit performance, pouring in 22 points and four rebounds. In addition, Ontario saw only one other player reach double-digits with Jason Preston's 13 points, six assists and four rebounds.

Next, the Kings travel to El Segundo to play the South Bay Lakers on Saturday, December 17. The game is slated for a 5:00 p.m. PT tip at UCLA Health Training Center.
