
Stockton Kings Fall Short in First Game of Series against South Bay Lakers

The Stockton Kings (5-4) were defeated by the South Bay Lakers (8-1), 102-112, in the first game of the two-game series at Stockton Arena.
The Kings led in the first half, closing the second quarter at 57-43. Kings guard Marcus Graves led the way with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Kings two-way player Neemias Queta followed with 19 points and 16 rebounds. The Kings finished the game shooting .044 from the field, .021 from three and .057 from the free throw line.
The South Bay Lakers were led by guard Mac McClung who had 26 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. The South Bay Lakers outscored the Kings in the second half, leading to the 10-point victory. The South Bay Lakers also finished the game shooting .043 percent from the field, .029 percent from three and .079 percent from the free throw line.
The Stockton Kings will again take on the South Bay Lakers at Stockton Arena on December 11 at 7:00 PM PT. Fans can tune in to the game on ESPN+.
