Stockton Kings Announce Three Team Trade

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced a three-team trade with the Wisconsin Herd and Mexico City Capitanes.

The Wisconsin Herd have agreed to trade Iverson Molinar and the returning player rights to Brendan Bailey to the Mexico City Capitanes. In exchange, The Mexico City Capitanes have agreed to trade the returning player rights to guard Mason Jones to the Stockton Kings. The Stockton Kings have agreed to trade the returning player rights to Gary Clark, Quinn Cook and Alfonzo McKinnie to the Wisconsin Herd and their own first-round pick in the 2024 NBA G League Player Draft to the Mexico City Capitanes.

Jones, a 6-4 guard, played college basketball for two seasons at the University of Arkansas from 2018-20, where he earned All-SEC First Team honors, and finished the 2019-20 season as the leading scorer in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and ranked eighth in the NCAA in points per game with 22.0. In the same season he also led NCAA Division I men's basketball in both free-throws and free-throw attempts. Jones signed a two-way contract with the Houston Rockets on November 19, 2020. He also spent time with the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers as a two-way player. In 36 career NBA appearances, Jones is averaging 5.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
