Sting Notes

Hugo Leufvenius: The Swedish import continues to lead the team in scoring, Hugo now sits with 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points in 23 games played including goals in five straight games. Brayden Guy: The 17-year old forward recorded a Gordie Howe Hat Trick on Saturday night in Sarnia (goal, assist & fight) and now surpassed last seasons goal total with 7 early on the campaign.

Adan Ruzicka: Ruzicka returned to his old form with a three-point showing last night in Kitchener (2G, 1A). This snaps an 18 game goal less streak for the Slovak who now has five goals and 22 points on the year. Ashton Reesor: The 6.03 defenseman has been a very reliable asset on the backend for the Sting. The 17-year-old recorded his first Ontario Hockey League goal on Friday Night vs. the Oshawa Generals and even more impressive holds a +13 rating, a bright future on the Sting blueline.

Community Events

Pathways Secret Santa Event: Wednesday, November 21: 5:30- 7:30 PM -The Sarnia Sting partner with Pathways Centre for Youth to help the community shop for Christmas in support of Pathways Sarnia Lambton.

Breakfast of Champions Program Powered by Imperial - The Sarnia Sting in partnership with Imperial Sarnia will host their Second Breakfast of Champions program Wednesday, November 28th at P.E.

21sr Annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by Lambton Ford: Saturday, December 8th at 2:05 PM

-The Sarnia Sting partner with Lambton Ford once again to help make sure no kid wakes up without a gift on Christmas. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used plush toys to the game. When the Sting score their first goal fans throw the toys to the ice to be collected and distributed by our local Salvation Army.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Night: Friday, December 14th vs. Erie Otters.

-The Sarnia Sting partner with the Inn of the Good Shepherd to present the Ugly Christmas Sweaters! The Sting will don this year's version of the jersey on Friday Night when the Erie Otters visit the Progressive Auto Sales Arena. A select number of jerseys will be auctioned off live following the game while the remainder will be available online.
