
Sting acquire Jordan Grant

Sarnia, ON â The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club announced today they have acquired forward Jordan Grant and a ninth round pick in 2005 from the Plymouth Whalers in return for defenseman Steve Ward.
Grant, 17 will begin his second season in the Ontario Hockey League after playing his rookie season in Plymouth last year.
Grant won't be in the Sting lineup for the season opener on Friday, as he will serve the second game of a two game suspension, he is expected to make his Sting debut Saturday versus the Brampton Battalion.
