The Guelph Storm will be on home ice for the first time this season on Sunday September 26th @ 3:00pm versus the Windsor Spitfires.
A pre-game ceremony is planned to honour last seasons Ontario Hockey League's Championship team. Several players from the 2003/2004 edition of the Storm, including former Co-Captain Martin St.Pierre will be on hand at the Guelph Sports & Entertainment Centre.
Along with the banner ceremony, the Guelph Storm will open the festivities with a bang as a pyrotechnic show is planned to kick off the season.
Fans attending the game will also receive the first of a two-part collectible Guelph Storm magnet commemorating each of the nine jerseys worn by the Storm since their inception, co-sponsored by the Guelph Mercury and Owens Corning.
