Pierog returns to Macon lineup after four game stint in ECHL
MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem announced on Thursday that center Stephen Pierog has returned from loan to the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL.
This trip to Atlanta was Pierog's second stint with the Gladiators this season. After a one game trip earlier in December, he spent four games with the team this time around, collecting his first career ECHL goal to go along with two assists and a plus-two rating.
The 23-year-old comes back to Macon, where he has spent the previous two seasons. In 20 games for the Mayhem this season, Pierog has seven goals, 12 assists and 19 points. In 101 career games for the Mayhem, he has 26 points, 46 assists and 72 points, and he led the team in assists during the regular season last year with 29.
