
Steelheads Announce First-Round Schedule for US Bank

Boise, ID - The Idaho Steelheads have announced the full schedule for the first round of the 2018 US Bank Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Steelheads will face the Allen Americans in the Mountain Division Semifinal, the second post-season meeting between the teams in the past three seasons, with Game 1 held at CenturyLink Arena on Friday, April 13th.
Each playoff round will be a best-of-seven series, with three series victories needed to reach the Kelly Cup Final. The Steelheads have made the playoffs for the 21st time in 21 seasons, the longest active playoff streak in professional hockey. Idaho seeks its third Kelly Cup championship, and first since 2007.

Game 1: Allen Americans @ Steelheads - Friday, April 13th, 7:10pm - CenturyLink Arena
Game 2: Allen Americans @ Steelheads - Saturday, April 14th, 7:10pm - CenturyLink Arena
Game 3: Steelheads @ Allen Americans - Wednesday, April 18th, 6:05pm - Allen Event Center
Game 4: Steelheads @ Allen Americans - Friday, April 20th, 6:05pm - Allen Event Center
Game 5: Steelheads @ Allen Americans - Sunday, April 22nd, 5:05pm - Allen Event Center*
Game 6: Allen Americans @ Steelheads - Tuesday, April 24th, 7:10pm - CenturyLink Arena*
Game 7: Allen Americans @ Steelheads - Wednesday, April 25th, 7:10pm - CenturyLink Arena*

The Steelheads played their final two regular-season games against the Americans, earning three of an available four points. The Steelheads went 5-3-2 against Allen during the regular-season series.
Idaho's only other playoff series against the Americans came in 2016, with the fourth-seeded Americans defeating the fifth-seeded Steelheads in overtime of Game 7 in the Western Conference Quarterfinal. The Americans would go on to win their second Kelly Cup that spring.
The Steelheads will host viewing parties for all road games during the first round of the playoffs, held at the Sports Zone at CenturyLink Arena. Viewing parties will include food and drink menus and raffle prizes. All road games will be broadcast live on KTIK "The Ticket" and on ECHLTV, and all home games will be broadcast live on Cable One.
