-SPIKES FINISH SET AGAINST 'CUTTERS AT HOME: The State College Spikes come back to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park tonight to face the Williamsport Crosscutters in the final game of a four-game alternating-site series. State College won the first two games of the series before falling to the Crosscutters last night in Williamsport. The Spikes have won five out of seven from the Crosscutters so far this year. State College has faced Williamsport 103 times over the past nine years, and the all-time series is now in favor of Williamsport, 52-51. The Spikes are 23-29 on the road against Williamsport all-time, and are 13-6 against the Crosscutters over the last two years.

-LAST NIGHT: Rowan Wick matched the State College Spikes' single-season home run record with his 10th of the year, but the Williamsport Crosscutters slugged three homers, including a grand slam, to down the Spikes, 8-4, on Saturday night at Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field.

Wick's sixth-inning solo blast tied him with 2013 Spike David Washington atop the franchise's all-time single-season home run list. The North Vancouver, BC native took just 16 games to tie the mark, and five of his 10 long balls have come against Williamsport.

However, the Crosscutters staked themselves to a 5-0 lead in the second inning thanks to a solo home run by Matt Shortall to lead off the frame and a grand slam from Rhys Hoskins. Williamsport led by as much as six runs in the game, with a solo home run from Jan Hernandez in the fifth inning adding to the advantage.

-ANDERSON GETS START FOR SPIKES: Right-hander Will Anderson moves up one spot in the rotation to make his third start of the season for the Spikes this evening. Anderson takes the place of Luis Perdomo, who earned promotion to Single-A Peoria on Saturday. The Pleasanton, CA native went five innings against Jamestown last time out, allowing two runs, one of them earned, on six hits and three walks while stirking out four over five innings. All three of Anderson's starts this season have come at home. The righty was the Cardinals' 26th-round selection in the 2013 Draft out of Cal State-Monterey Bay.

-ARTEAGA GETS BALL FOR 'CUTTERS: Right-hander Alejandro Arteaga makes the start for Williamsport tonight, his fourth of the season. Arteaga was the Crosscutters' Opening Night starter against State College on June 13, and took the loss after allowing six runs, but only one earned, on seven hits and two walks while striking out one over five innings. The native Venezuelan picked up the win against Jamestown last time out, logging 6 2/3 innings and allowing two runs on eight hits and a walk. Arteaga started the 2014 campaign with Single-A Lakewood, going 3-6 with a 9.23 ERA in nine starts.

-WICK-ED WITH THE BAT : Rowan Wick earned New York-Penn League Player of the Week honors on Monday after his historic tear through the beginning of the Spikes' season, a start which has continued to impress. Wick's ten homers have already tied him for the franchise single-season record with just 16 games gone in the 2014 season, and he has at least one homer in every Spikes series this year. The North Vancouver, BC native is currently bidding for the NYPL's Triple Crown, as he is tied for the league lead with 19 RBI, and his .392 batting average is now best in the NYPL by 40 points.

-SPIKE MARKS: The Spikes and Crosscutters will engage in a "#UniBattle" tonight, as while the Spikes will wear their special "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"-inspired jerseys to be auctioned off to benefit Children's Miracle Network, the Crosscutters will be donning their special "ugly Christmas sweater" jerseys...The Crosscutters were going to wear the jerseys on Wednesday night in Williamsport, but the game was rained out...The 'Cutters will also wear the jerseys on August 2 to benefit Toys for Tots...Fernando Baez has allowed just a .043 batting average to opposing hitters this year, the second-best mark among New York-Penn League relievers...Infielder Darren Seferina was added to the Spikes' roster today after initially being placed on the GCL Cardinals roster...Seferina is the Cardinals' fifth-round draft choice this year out of Miami-Dade College
