-LAST GAME: Carlos Mesa's two-out RBI double plated the go-ahead run for the State College Spikes in the sixth inning, enabling Nick Kingham to earn his third win of the season after another strong start as the Spikes held on a for a 2-1 victory over the Hudson Valley Renegades on Wednesday night at Dutchess Stadium. Mesa, who has been on the disabled list since August 3 before being reinstated on Wednesday, had been selected to play in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game held Tuesday in Lowell, MA, but could not participate due to injury.
