January 25, 2024 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Lincoln Stars News Release
The Lincoln Stars will play their first two road games of 2024 this weekend when they travel to Michigan to face the Muskegon Lumberjacks for games on Saturday and Sunday. This is the Stars first trip to Muskegon since Jan. 31 - Feb. 1, 2020.
Lincoln has won six of its last eight games and is facing an Eastern Conference team on Saturday for the first time since Dec. 2. The Stars split a pair of home games last weekend against the Sioux Falls Stampede.
Muskegon is third in the East and is six points back of first-place Dubuque. They are coming off a weekend sweep on the road at Omaha. The Lumberjacks' 149 goals are the third-most in the USHL.
Though the Stars are on the road this weekend, Saturday night's game can be watched with fellow fans without leaving Lincoln. The game will be broadcast on the big screen at the Railyard Rink as well as inside of Gate 25. Fans can watch the 6:10 p.m. CST game inside or outside. The Railyard Rink is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and full hours can be viewed at lincolnstars.com/sports/2023/12/13/railyard-rink.aspx
