Barkaneers Are Back on February 10

The Des Moines Buccaneers will officially become the Des Moines Barkaneers for the second time in franchise history on February 10th when Des Moines hosts the Lincoln Stars.

The team's name and logo will change and the 'Barks' will wear specialty jerseys as the Barkaneers, which are sponsored by Raising Cane's and will be auctioned after the game to benefit Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

The intermissions will feature the annual "Doxie Dash" wiener dog races, competing for a spot on the podium and a trophy, as well as other goodies for the proud pooches.
