OMAHA, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars (34-23-1-1) fell 4-1 to the Omaha Lancers (38-16-2-3) on Friday night at Ralston Arena.

The Lancers grabbed the game's first goal at 9:10 on a turnover collected by forward Ryan Savage at 9:10 to take a 1-0 lead. Lancers forwards Cole Gallant and Christian O'Neill capitalized at 6:16 and 6:51, respectively, of the third period to triple the lead, 3-0. Stars forward Devlin McCabe gave the road side life with a coast-to-coast goal at 11:01, however Lancers defenseman Jesper Peltonen sealed the game with an empty net goal at 19:52, taking the 4-1 win.

Lancers netminder Zach Driscoll (22-9-2) stopped 35 of 36 shots in the win, while Stars goaltender Tomáœ=A1 Vomá=C4=8Dka (24-19-0) halted 25 of 28 shots in the loss. The Stars close the 2017-18 regular season on Saturday, Apr. 14 at 7:35 p.m. against the Tri-City Storm at Viaero Center. Coverage is available on 93.7 The Ticket, HockeyTV and Lincoln Stars Radio.
