Tri-City has clinched a playoff spot and will enter next week's playoffs as a #6 seed regardless of this weekend's results. The team record for most assists by a defenseman in a season was set by Mattias Goransson during the 2015-2016 regular season. Goransson recorded 34 assists for the Storm in 58 games played during a 2015-2016 regular season that was punctuated with the Storm's 1st Clark Cup Championship in the playoffs. The team record for most points in a single season for any skater, regardless of position, was set by forward Jaden Schwartz during the 2009-2010 season. Schwartz tallied a team record 50 assists that season and was selected 14th overall in the 2010 NHL draft by the St. Louis Blues following his record breaking season with the Storm.
