Lincoln, Neb. - The Stars selected 16 forwards, three defensemen and one goalie in the Phase II USHL Draft.

STORYLINES

-Gustaf Westlund was ranked 116th among North American skaters in the NHL Central Scouting final rankings. Josef Korenar was ranked 4th among European goalies.

-The Stars drafted nine (9) NCAA committed players

-The Stars redrafted Chayse Primeau in the seventh round. He played four games with the Stars during the 2015-2016 season

-Chayse Primeau and his brother Cayden are both members of the Lincoln Stars. They join twin brothers Christian and Cole Krygier who were drafted in the Phase I Draft.

-Where They're From: Wisconsin (4), Minnesota (3), New Jersey (3), Canada (2), Sweden (1), Czech Republic (1), California (1), Massachusetts (1), New York (1), Illinois (1), Michigan (1), Colorado (1)

-Lincoln drafted three players in the Phase II Draft with fathers who played in the NHL: Jacob Modry (son of Jaroslav), Mason Klee (son of Ken), Chayse Primeau (son of Keith)
