DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the club has re-assigned defenseman Matt Nickerson to Assat Pori of the Finnish Elite League.
Last season with the Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL), Nickerson posted 182 penalty minutes and 12 points in 48 games: 48(1/11/12)182
OPENING WEEKEND: The Iowa Stars begin their inaugural season on October 6th and 8th at Wells Fargo Arena against the Peoria Rivermen and Omaha Knights, respectively. Both games will have a 7:05 PM start time. Tickets to all games can be obtained by calling 515-23-STARS.
