Stampeders In The Community

February 16, 2007 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release


(Calgary) - The Calgary Stampeders continue to be active in the local community and this week Offensive Lineman Jeff Pilon, Godfrey Ellis, Defensive Lineman Terrence Patrick and Linebacker Scott Coe will be lending a helping hand at the Salvation Army Family Day Dinner. The players will be signing autographs and helping to serve beverages as people wait to enter.

Later in the week, Receiver Nik Lewis and Offensive Lineman Taylor Robertson will be attending the Circe of Courage Radio Broadcast where students will interview the players on a temporary radio transmission.

To close out the week, Quarterback Henry Burris will be featured at the Celebrity Hors d'Oeurvres fundraiser for Alberta Theatre Projects. The event features local celebrities pairing with local food establishments in a fun competition to auction the most food items for the ATP.
