Stampeders Add Defensive Lineman

Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce that import defensive lineman Robert Henderson has signed a practice-roster agreement with the club. As per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Henderson most recently spent time with the Seattle Seahawks. He was selected in the sixth round (199th overall) by the New York Giants in the 2008 National Football League draft and also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions. Prior to playing professionally, Henderson played four seasons for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. He dressed for 46 games and started 33 contests. His career stats include 173 tackles, including 29.5 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
