Montreal, Sept. 15, 2010 - Montreal Alouettes' Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today that import linebackerIke Charlton joined the team's practice roster.
Charlton (6'00'', 205 lbs) joins the Alouettes after playing the first five games of the season with the Blue Bombers, recording 22 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle and three knockdowns. In 60 career games, all with Winnipeg, he registered 225 defensive tackles, 14 special teams tackles, four sacks, nine tackles for a loss of 32 yards, one interception and 14 knockdowns. A second round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2000, he also played with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and Detroit Lions. He's 33.
