
Baggs Earns CFL Defensive Player of the Week

Hamilton, Ontario - Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive end Stevie Baggs has been named the CFL's Defensive Player of the Week for his effort in last Friday's 30-3 win over the Toronto Argoanuts.
Baggs recorded seven defensive tackles, one special teams tackles and two quarterback sacks against the Argos, helping the Ticats defence smother Toronto's offence in a crucial East Division matchup.
Since signing with the Ticats on September 16, Baggs has already registered 14 defensive tackles, four quarterback sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in four games.
